All material is derived from botanical products. No animal products are present in any material, nor have any materials been tested on animals. We have provided a brief definition of many ingredients. This product has a guaranteed shelf life of 3 years.

2. Dioctyl Maleate ~ conditioning agent.
3. C12-15 Alkyl Benzoate ~ conditioning agent.
4. Glycerin - is a naturally produced (during soap making) humectant: a substance that promotes retention of moisture.
5. Propylene Glycol - Not to be confused with Ethylene Glycol - Prevents freezing. Propylene Glycol is often confused with Ethylene Glycol. Propylene Glycol is considered safe by the FDA and is found in many products such as food, medicines & cosmetics.
   
6. Glyceryl Stearate ~ emulsifier in skin conditioning agents.
7. PEG-100 Stearate ~ derived from coconut ~ thickening agent.
8. Soybean Oil ~ Oil extracted from the soy bean.
9. Ceteareth-20 ~ emulsifier
10. Sorbitan Stearate ~ emulsifier.

Instructions for Scenting Lotion:

Place 16 oz. of lotion into a ziploc bag.  Add 1/4 oz.  fragrance.  Close the ziploc bag and mix thoroughly with your hands.  Work the lotion to a bottom corner of the bag, twist the bag (much like a cake decorating technique), and then cut a very small piece off that corner.  Squeeze the lotion into your bottle.
