It is difficult to achieve a successful pillar candle from pure soy wax and we cannot offer technical assistance. We recommend this wax for pillars that are no larger than 3" in diameter and no taller than 6". Soy Wax Modifier/All Vegetable Will lessen frosting and give smoother tops. Case = 50 Lbs:

Votive Blend Soy Wax Melt point = 137 degrees F Flashpoint = 500 degrees F Pouring votive blend soy wax: - Heat soy wax to 190/200 degrees F
- Remove from heat source
- Add fragrance and dye
- Pour into molds between 150/175 degrees F
- Add wick or after it has cooled remove votive from mold and drill wick hole
NOTE: Do not keep in liquid form above 180 degrees F for extended periods of time as this will burn the wax (give it a yellow appearance) We just received notice that our soy wax has had a $.16 per lb. increase, effective immediately. |
